Bills DT Ed Oliver (ankle) may not practice Wednesday

Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver will not practice on Wednesday due to an ankle injury, head coach Sean McDermott said during his media availability.

Oliver injured his ankle in the first half last Thursday against the Rams and was able to walk off under his own power before being listed as probable to return. The 2019 first round pick briefly returned in the second half but had to exit again early in the third quarter and did not return for the rest of the game.

It is unclear what Oliver’s status will be for Monday night’s home opener against the Tennessee Titans.

“We’ll just take it one day at a time. We’ll see where it goes from there,” McDermott said.

McDermott also shared that DT Tim Settle (undisclosed) will not practice Wednesday.
