Foot injury to sideline young Bomber for extended period

Tests this week revealed the defender has sustained an injury and will likely spend time in a moon boot and be sidelined for a period of time. The 21-year-old will miss the Bombers’ start to the season and will be hoping to avoid the club’s mid-season break.

Baldwin joined the Bombers as an add-on ahead of the 2021 season and made his AFL debut in 2022. The hard-hitting, hard-hitting Bachman played in four games last year and was part of a team with more important defensive depth in the preseason.

He joined the Bombers after undergoing two knee reconstructive surgeries during his youth days and was injured last month when big forward Jaeden Hunter underwent reconstructive knee surgery. Baldwin signed a one-year contract extension with the club late last year and is currently under contract until the end of the 2024 season.
