Michael Vick among the big names on 2024 College Football HOF ballot

When most people think of Michael Vick, they probably think of the air-fight scandal that landed him in prison midway through his NFL career. Either that or they thought how unrealistic he was on the field during his first six NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons.
He really deserves this publicity.

Virginia Tech football fans probably remember their version of Vick best. There’s a reason the Falcons put him in the first overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Vick was an absolute college football quarterback for the Hokies in 1999 and 2000. It’s good that Vick was among the nominees for the National Football Foundation 2024 College Football Hall of Fame vote.

Vick was an all-American on the first team as well as the Big East’s Most Valuable Attacker of the Year 1999. He was arguably the biggest reason why Virginia Tech lost 11-0 in the regular season and title game. 1999 national championship.

He threw 3,299 yards and made 21 touchdowns with 11 interceptions in two seasons, but he really made the mark with his feet. Vick dashed for 1,299 yards and 17 touchdowns in two seasons for Virginia Tech.
